Lock and Tech USA is a security installer working across New Jersey and New York City. We work out of Keyport, from our location on Route 35, and our own technicians – no subcontractors – install cameras, alarms, intercoms and access control. Most of our camera work here happens at houses. In Monmouth and Middlesex that usually means colonials and split-levels, where cable goes up through the attic or down through the basement and the cameras sit under the eaves, over the garage and at the back door. Hudson and Union bring more two-family houses with a shared entry and mailboxes, where the owner sees the common areas and nothing inside a unit. Shops in strip plazas get cameras on the register, the door and the back lot. Warehouses get the truck bays, the yard and a plate camera at the gate. We drive out to all of it from Keyport on weekdays.
The technician who comes out first walks the driveway, the doors and the yard with you, checks the attic or basement for a cable path and picks a dry spot for the recorder. Then you get an estimate that prices labor and parts on separate lines.
The same technician comes back to run the cable, seal each entry point under the eaves and mount the cameras. Each one gets aimed while you watch the live feed, and the driveway camera gets checked again once it's dark.
The person who sets up your app shows you how to find a clip, save it and send it. The recorder's login stays with you, passwords are unique and the firmware's updated. If something stops working later, call our scheduling desk.
